Historic Stamey Event Center

The Historic Stamey Event Center is a full service event center opening in the fall of 2018 in the Stamey Store Building, Fallston, NC.

Construction began on The Stamey Store in 1925 in what was an art-deco style architecture reminiscent of grand buildings in big cities at the time. In 1927, the doors swung open with a full line of goods from New York, Baltimore, and all over the country.
The event venue is being completely restored to reflect and preserve the architecture that has been so adored by generations of people in Cleveland County. Among the stunning features will be heavy wood millwork, maple hardwood floors, beautiful wood and lead glass storefront windows, and vintage tin ceilings restored to pristine condition.
It will operate as a full service event center with a maximum seating capacity of 300 and a standing capacity of 500. The building will also feature a lounge area, a bar area, plenty of room for dancing, and a catering kitchen.
